Confirm that chickens are producing eggs and that you can convert or sell the output without immediately filling capacity. A farm that produces quickly but cannot process its eggs is not ready for blind expansion. Record the rates under steady conditions before comparing purchases.

Do not buy toward every visible chicken. Pick a target tier, enter the ratio displayed in your server, and include every owned intermediate chicken. The useful output is the remaining deficit and peak added space, because both affect how much Cash and nest room the target requires.

If production exceeds processing, improve the sell/processing side or create more available capacity. If neither is limiting, remeasure after the next upgrade rather than assuming the farm is permanently balanced.
Update 8 adds ten upgrade levels and two Buy Tiers, but their full current cost/effect table is not in the official description. Read each displayed cost and effect, then prefer the option that improves the limiting stage or shortens the current merge plan under your observed rates.
A Rebirth trades current progress for a displayed benefit. Calculate time to the requirement from your observed Cash rate, compare it with the next useful upgrade, and estimate how long rebuilding takes. Confirm the reset list before acting; a fast requirement alone does not make the reset worthwhile.
Shorten the merge distance, credit owned intermediate tiers, and farm toward the remaining deficit rather than the full empty-chain total.
Offline egg laying exists, but its exact rate and cap are not assumed. Leave capacity, return once, and use the observed change to set a safer collection interval.
Check whether it improved the stage that was actually limiting you. More production can increase backlog when processing or storage was already behind.
